Ruth Mills

Ruth Annette Mills, 77 passed away July 11, 2010 with her children at her side.
A service will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church, 4201 W. Washington Ave, Las Vegas at 9:30am on Saturday July 24, 2010 with a reception following.
Viewing will be from 3:00pm 8:00pm on Friday July 23rd at Davis Funeral Home 2127 W. Charleston Ave, Las Vegas.
Ruth Annette was a long time educator in CCSD and devoted member of the Episcopal Church. She was an active member of the League of Women Voters serving as the president for three years. She was the recipient of numerous awards including the Governors Award for Distinguished Senior and the Woman of Distinction Award to name but a few. She is survived by her brother John Truitt and sisters Joan Allen and Arlene Moroz her three children Charles, Francis and Julie Mills and her five grandchildren Charles, James, Ben, Victoria, and John.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Chuck Mills.
