Scott Klepzig

Scott Allison Klepzig, 64, of Las Vegas passed away On September 13, 2018 in Las Vegas. Scott was born in Oak Park, Illinois on May 3, 1954.

Scott was blessed with a loving family, a wonderful wife Sandy of 43 years two children Carl and Cristen. His mom Melba Redfern and dad Don Klepzig loved him along with his brothers: David Klepzig, Kendall Marlowe, Kier Klepzig, Ben Klepzig along with foster brothers Randy Hecht and Jeff Helt his foster sisters Chris and Cindy Dranka. Step mom, Pat Klepzig Step dad John Redfern. Granddaughter Skylar Klepzg.

After a career in the Navy as a hospital corpsman where he met and married Sandy, also a hospital corpsman, he earned his R.N. and became a Flight for life nurse. Worked as a critical care/ER nurse at UMC and also Inpatient Case Manager and Case Manager Instructor. Then moving to Clinical Review RN with QOC Department at UHC. He was active in the community through his involvement with the Las Vegas Motor Speedway as an Infield Care Center nurse, he served the Civil Air Patrol as a Unit Medical Officer for many years. Scott was a CPR instructor and an avid rock hound with the rock hunting club Southern Nevada Gem and Mineral Society. Scott loved his Chicago sports teams and the Las Vegas Golden Knights.

Memorial Service will be held Friday September 28 at 1pm Davis Funeral Homes 1401 S. Rainbow Blvd. Las Vegas, NV 89146
