Sha'Maria Curenton-Davis

February 21, 2000 — March 19, 2020

On March 19, 2020, Sha’Maria Monique Curenton received her call home. God loaned her to the world for twenty years, one month, and seven days. Sha’maria touched the lives of all that she came in contact with. From a little girl to adulthood Sha’Maria enjoyed working with her church praise team, dabbling in photography, and singing.

Sha’Maria was born on February 12, 2000, at Sunrise Hospital. She started her entry into this world with a little struggle but God never let her go. From the first time that she opened her eyes, Sha’Maria never stopped bringing joy to everyone she encountered.

As a young child, she had a flair for taking pictures which reflects in all of the selfie photos that she took daily. Every time she got her hair done, it gave her a reason to be in the mirror. Sha’Maria knew her beauty inside and out. With her chipmunk cheeks she could always be seen smiling from ear to ear no matter what the circumstance.

From elementary to college, teachers raved of the joy that Sha’Maria brought to all her classes and could sometimes be the class clown, but this did not take away from her studies. Sha’Maria’s favorite class was her photography class that allowed her to capture the rare images that she loved.

Over the last few years Sha’Maria was called to worship the Lord in the art of dance. Praising HIS name in dance gave her the joy she provided to those in her life. Her dance could usher in the Holy Ghost and fill the room with love. This was a passion that Sha’Maria loved to do individually or as a group with the younger children in the church as well. She was always quick to help, slow to anger, and easy to love.

Sha’Maria leaves behind her loving mother (Latrice Curenton), sister (Alexandra), aunt (Jo Washington) of Las Vegas, cousins (Nathan, Aretesha, Kayla, Arin, and Natalie Alexander) of California, Arianna Curenton and Symphanie Nelson) of Arkansas, uncles of Arkansas (Demetrious Curenton and James Alexander), aunt of Arkansas (Jennifer Curenton), and several others that have been a value in her life.

Memorial services are pending between mid to late April. For more information please email at curentonlatrice1014@yahoo.com.
