Sondra Rothstein

Sondra Rothstein, 78, died October 24th, 2011 in Las Vegas, NV. At the time of her passing, she was under the care of Nathan Adelson Hospice.

She was born on August 2nd, 1933 in the Bronx, NY to Blanche Ungar Grossman and Joseph Grossman. She graduated from Courtland State College in upstate NY and became a Physical Education teacher for most of her career. She also taught swimming and Hebrew lessons and was an avid duplicate bridge player.

Her interests included swimming, duplicate bridge, traveling, watching her beloved Celtics play and beat the lakers and playing penney slot machines.

She is survived by her husband, Howard Rothstein, daughter Lisa Shaw, sonin law Michael Moi, and granddaughter Randi Spencer.

She will be buried in the family plot at Mount Lebanon Cemetary in Brooklyn, NY on Friday, October 28th. Arrangements are being made through Davis Funeral Home in Las Vegas, and Shermans Flatbush Memorial Chapel in Brooklyn, NY.
