Stephanie Diane Johnson

May 10, 1966 — October 17, 2024

Las Vegas

Stephanie Diane Johnson was born on May 10, 1966, in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, Nevada. On October 17, 2024, she left this world unexpectedly at the age of 58, leaving behind a tapestry of love, laughter, and legacy that touched everyone she met. At the time of her passing, she resided in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where her spirit was as bright as her actions were purposeful.

Stephanie was a beacon of positivity and strength, always the loudest in the room and unapologetically so. Those who knew her will remember her as a woman who loved to make people laugh, often employing her sharp wit to lighten even the heaviest moments. Beneath a tough exterior was a heart full of kindness and generosity—a true nurturer fueled by a passion for bringing people together.

Her life's work was a testament to her dedication and diligence. As a Community Association Manager and a licensed real estate professional, Stephanie's expertise received widespread recognition. She was showered with numerous work awards, a reflection of not just her extensive knowledge but also her unwavering commitment to her profession. Yet, her greatest role, without a doubt, was being a mother to SeRita Marie Williams, her cherished daughter. Her legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren, Angelina and Nathan Covarrubias, whose lives she enriched with boundless love and countless fun.

Stephanie's contributions to the community were both heartfelt and impactful. During the Covid pandemic, she took it upon herself to sew hundreds of masks, personally ensuring that healthcare workers at Oklahoma State Hospitals and Integris Community Hospital were protected. She extended her compassion across state lines to her hometown in Las Vegas, providing masks for frontline nurses. Her advocacy work with the Children's Advocacy Center and Foundation of Nevada helped shine a light of hope for juvenile victims of sexual assault.

Stephanie always made room for family and friends. Loving sister to Alondra Dallaly, she was a loyal and supportive sibling, ever ready with a smile or a witty remark. As a fighter who always got the last word, she'd always advocate for what she believed in, perhaps leaving us all with a lesson to stand firm for our convictions. Stephanie wasn't just a fighter for causes she believed in; she knew exactly which battles to pick and usually ended them on her victorious note, with a twinkle in her eye.

Stephanie's love remains eternal, surviving through her daughter SeRita, her sister Alondra, grandchildren Angelina and Nathan, her beloved dog Roadie, and all the lives she touched. Her memory will be celebrated during a service on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 2pm-5pm, at Davis Funeral Homes & Memorial Park, located at 1401 S Rainbow Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada. As we remember her and celebrate the immeasurable impact she had on our lives.

Though Stephanie has left this earthly realm, she asks us not to say goodbye but to “Look For Me In Rainbows.” During the morning sunrise or the serene evening sunset, know that her spirit is there, blanketing you with love from the sky. Her parting promise is to reunite with us one day, holding us in her loving embrace once more. And until then, remember her laughter, her love, and her light. Just wish her near, and she’ll be with you always.
