Steven R. Frazier, 58, passed away peacefully with his wife and children by his side on June 3, 2017, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Steve was born on August 8, 1958 in Quincy, Illinois to Billie Gene Frazier and Nita Annavee Jones. He grew up and attended school in Cameron, MO. At the age of 17, he enlisted into the United States Marine Corps and retired in 1996 after proudly serving our country for 20 years. Beyond his military retirement, he worked for Century Link and was a dedicated employee for 19 years. While working and raising his family, he attended the College of Southern Nevada where he earned two Associate of Applied Science Degrees with Honors: Electronic Engineering Technology Telecommunications and Computing and Information Technology. He also served as Cub-master for Pack 136 and Troop Master for Troop 544, both in Las Vegas Nevada. Steve enjoyed the outdoors and had a love for hunting, fishing, baseball and golf. He always strived to be the best Husband and father that he could be. He was a dedicated and hardworking man, never asking anyone for anything, but was always willing to give to others. Those closest to him will forever treasure his strong Love and unique sense of humor. We were so blessed to have him in our lives and will cherish the beautiful memories we made along the way. We will Love and miss him dearly.
Steve is survived by his wife, Sue; his daughter, Christina and her husband Vince, daughter Tammie and her husband Aaron; sons Michael and Joshua; his grandchildren are Lindsie, Jeremy, Sarah, Aaron, and Soren.
The family would like to acknowledge the outstanding efforts and care provided by the medical professionals at Mike O'Callahan Federal Hospital and Mountain View Hospital. We would also like to Thank everyone for their kind and thoughtful words during this most difficult time.
Memorial Services with Full Military Honors will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Davis Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 1401 South Rainbow Blvd. Las Vegas, Nevada 89146.
Viewing will be at 10:00 a.m. followed by Services and Military Honors at 1:00 p.m. and will be led by Pastor Mark Wickstrom of Community Lutheran Church.
Arrangements for Interment at Frazier Cemetery, Pattonsburg, MO. are Pending.
