Teresa A. Ignagni
Born July 24, 1946, Long Island City, New York. Passed Away July 29, 2013 after a year long battle with cancer.
A loving daughter to Frank and Carolina Ignagni who proceeded her in death.
She leaves behind her daughter Francesca Cecca Glimidakis and brother Frank Ignagni Jr..
Teresa was a proud Marine and dedicated to the veterans causes, ceremonies and celebrations. She was devoted to her daughter and family and especially loved her Italian heritage. She was always willing to help friends and family in need. Teresa had a successful career as a court reporter in the San Francisco bay area and loved to travel, especially to Italy to visit family. She was fun and loved to make you laugh. She never showed up to any ones home without a gift. In retirement she became close to her Aunt Susie and Uncle Chris Ignagni in Las Vegas. She made many new friends, kept in touch with old friends, cousins and neighbors. It wasnt unusual to open your email and see a special picture she picked out for you to make you laugh or smile for the day. Finally Teresa found joy and championship in her little dog Petie who didnt leave her side throughout her illness.
