A devoted resident of Las Vegas, she fostered a love for the lively atmosphere that encapsulated the city, particularly delighting in afternoons spent playing Bingo—a pastime that brought her joy and camaraderie with friends and family alike.

Velma's life was indelibly marked by the relationship she shared with the love of her life, her devoted husband, Albert Vigil, who preceded her in death. In her departure, she leaves behind the rich legacies of her four children: Michael, Robert, Raymond, and Patricia; her five grandchildren; and her one great-grandchild. A private ceremony celebrating the luminous life of Velma S. Vigil is scheduled for February 7th, 2025, at the Davis Funeral Home Rainbow Chapel, where friends and family will gather to honor her legacy from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This peaceful occasion will be followed by an interment at the Davis Memorial Park Eastern Chapel at 1:00 PM, where she will find her eternal rest.
