Virginia Navarro Ovalles, better known as "Virgie", a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend. Departed unexpectedly on December 23, 2024, at the age of 71. Born on March 11, 1953, Virgie is remembered by family and friends to be an intense 4ft 10 firecracker who can shake up a room, but also fill it up with laughter, and great stories and was always willing to lend a helping hand where ever, and whenever you needed her. A devoted wife for 43 years, Virgie shared a deeply rooted partnership with her husband, Florencio P. Ovalles Jr. Together they built a life filled with laughter, adventure and an unbreakable bond serving as the foundation of their family. Virginia's legacy lives on in her son, Michael "Jogie" Ovalles, and daughters, Michelle "Meesh" Ovalles and Maria Christina "M.C." Ovalles Maddela, all of whom feel the weight of her loss while cherishing the countless memories created together. As the only sister to her brothers, Virgie cherished the strong familial ties that defined her life. Her role as a grandmother was central to her identity, and she showered her grandchildren with boundless love and affection, proudly instilling in them the morals and values she held dear. Virgie retired after a long and fulfilling 28-year career as a Customer Service Representative at AT&T, where she developed deep relationships with her colleagues who became her second family. Known for her vibrant personality and infectious sense of humor, she was a funny firecracker who knew how to lift spirits and forge connections with those around her. Her fierceness and zest for life created a ripple effect that not only brightened the workplace but left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered. As we gather to celebrate Virginia’s life, we remember a woman of tremendous warmth, fierce loyalty, and unwavering love—a true pillar of her family and community. Though her physical presence is no longer with us, the memories she has left behind will continue to inspire and bring us together. A memorial service to honor Virginia Navarro Ovalles will be held, where her family invites all who knew and loved her to come share stories and memories. In her honor, let us carry forward her spirit of joy and connection. Virgie will be forever missed but never forgotten, living on in the hearts of her loved ones.
