William Henry Knorr, 88, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly from Menomonee Falls, WI. He was
born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on November 11th, 1929. He entered eternal life on October 16,
2018.
He was the beloved husband of Marjory for 63 years, and a devoted father to Karen
Gibbon and Karl Knorr, who survive.
He is preceded in death by his parents Walter & Freida
Knorr, his sister Ruth Webfer, three bother-in-laws, and one sister-in-law.
William is also survived by his dear grandchildren David Gibbon, Hannah Gibbon, Kelsey Knorr, Bryte
DeGroot, his sister Edythe Uecker, brother-in-law Carl Dwiggins, sister-in-law Francis Rose,
many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In William's lifetime he taught in Lutheran Schools in North Carolina, Illinois, and
Wisconsin. Despite his low vision, he thrived and enjoyed his life to the fullest. William loved
gardening flowers and vegetables. He also loved doing crossword puzzles and listening to
classical music and hymns. He also had a keen sense of humor. William's church and many
friends were very important to him. William was a faithful servant of our Lord.
His service will be held on October 20, 2018 at Faith Community Lutheran Church at 11:00am, with a visitation
before at 10:00 am. Burial will take place at a later date.
